The Polycom Open Collaboration Network (Alliance Partners)

Alliance Partners are a select group of Partners with an established global presence who are committed to jointly delivering integrated solutions. An Alliance Partner’s primary business model is dedicated to system integration or service provisioning, or other value-added business that focuses on implementation, selling and supporting Polycom solutions for their customers.

Polycom Choice Partner Program (Channel Partners)

Channel Partners are regional, multinational and global solution providers (value-added resellers/AV Integrators), system integrators, service providers, direct market resellers, eTailers and distributors.

  • Solution Providers handle the project needs of their clients from concept to installation through ongoing support and management. They focus on selling, installing, and serving their clients by evaluating their needs, specifying the mix of manufacturer’s hardware and software solutions required to meet project goals, installing the video and audio/voice hardware and software at the client site(s) while often maintaining on-going service and support.
  • Service Providers are those partners who own a physical network and/or leases transport to support their primary business of selling carrier network services and driving additional bandwidth utilization through managed or hosted communication solutions and value-added services. Depending on the SP business model, they may be in the business of selling long-distance, local services, hosted applications, and/or data services.
  • System Integrators act as general contractors or prime contractors providing value-added solutions (solutions in which a System Integrator distributes Polycom products) to customers that may include products and services from several third-party suppliers. They integrate hardware and/or software to provide specific solutions to meet customer business needs.
  • Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs) are telephony-based UC service providers that deliver cloud-based communications services to small, medium, and large businesses. They focus on selling, renting, or bundling equipment with communications services for a recurring monthly fee.
  • Direct Market Resellers and eTailors sell directly to customers through online, catalog, field, and telephone sales and from storefront locations.
  • Value-Added Distributors sell Polycom products exclusively to channel partners, offering warehousing, transport, financing, and other benefits to those channels.

ARENA Program (Interoperability and Developer Partners)

Interoperability and Developer Partners are companies which integrate their existing solutions with Polycom's products, leveraging Polycom technologies.
