Polycom^® KIRK^® Certified Solution Program

The Polycom® KIRK® Certified Solution Program (KIRK CS Program) helps ensure interoperability and maximum performance for enterprise applications and endpoint products that support Polycom KIRK Wireless Solutions. The Program is open to manufacturers of DECT endpoints or applications that demonstrate compatibility with the KIRK Wireless Solutions.

The KIRK CS Program verifies documentation and interoperability with applications developed using the Polycom KIRK Open Application Interface (OAI) protocol. This KIRK OAI enables third-party applications to send and respond to real-time text messages and alerts using KIRK wireless handsets and infrastructure.

The KIRK OAI (XML-RPC or Event Messaging) protocol is a messaging protocol interface that is open to any developer. To enable development, Polycom offers a KIRK Software Development Kit (SDK) that provides the necessary information and tools to integrate applications and endpoints with KIRK Wireless Solutions. The KIRK SDK is available at no cost. To obtain the KIRK SDK, contact KIRK.Certified@polycom.com.

Official recognition of interoperability and partner status by Polycom, including:

• The right to use the "Polycom KIRK Certified" mark when referring to the certified application or endpoint, respectively
• Inclusion in the published list of KIRK Certified Solutions on Polycom's public web sites
• Access to Polycom marketing and technical resources, as noted in the KIRK CS Program agreement
• Access to sell through a comprehensive network of existing DECT Channels worldwide
